Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the psychological and social compatibility of retired teachers, as well as the differences in psychological and social compatibility between the two sexes. The sample consisted of (31) male and female teachers from retired teachers in the Guba city. The study used the psychosocial compatibility scale, prepared by Al-Qattan 1982, and the study results revealed that there are statistically significant differences (at 0.01 level) between the average of the study sample on the degree of social compatibility and the hypothesis average in favor of the average sample level, which indicates a low level of social compatibility in a sample The study, while there were no statistically significant differences on the psychological compatibility and general agreement. The study results also did not find statistically significant differences between the mean of the male sample and the average of the female sample in all dimensions of compatibility
