Abstract

The study aims to identify the level of anger among university students and to identify the presence of statistically significant differences in the degree of anger among university students in terms of gender, academic specialization, academic year and age. The sample of the study consisted of (65) male and female students from the Faculty of Arts of Omar AlMukhtar University - Al-Bayda in the Arabic and Psychological Departments from the first and fourth years. The Arab Anger Scale was used by Alaeddin Kafafi, Maysa Ahmad AlNayal (2000). The results of the study resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences in the degree of anger among university students due to the gender variable in favor of female students, while there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of anger among university students due to the variable of academic specialization, academic year and age.
